Today we are planning to go on another acclimatization hike with our other guide, Edgar. We had breakfast, Edgar picked us up and we drove for a few hours to get to a trailhead. Then we hiked for two hours; it was really cold and windy but super fun.
Edgar explained to us that it doesn’t get super cold in Ecuador, but the winds can get really strong. Once we got to the summit, we ate lunch and then went down.
Then we drove to a different hotel that we would be staying at for the next few days. We had lunch and then relaxed the rest of the day before dinner and bed.
