June 14 we woke up around 7am, had breakfast, and left to cache a load at 10,000 feet. The hike was much easier without the sleds. It took us three hours to go up, and one hour to return. The hike was hard but super beautiful! The next day we moved from Camp 1 to Camp 2. It took us 5.5 hours and we gained 3,500 ft vertical. It was a really hard day. It was really cold for a while, and then it got hot. Once we got to Camp 2, we set up camp and met a father-son duo. The son was 17 years old and it was cool to talk to another young mountaineer. June 16 was an active rest day, so we went to pick up our cache at 10,000 feet. It only took 2 hours and 45 minutes. Going down to get it was pretty painful because my pinky toes jammed in my boots. In the afternoon, me, one our guides and another climber did sno-ga, which was really fun. Yoga on the snow.
